The UA-WiSE/WISER Mentorship Program aims to connect women and under-represented individuals in STEM fields with mentors who can help foster professional development and personal discovery.
Applications for the 2023/2024 year are closed.
Our mentorship program consists of a unique trio format and runs from October 2023 to April 2024. This structure allows graduate students or early-career professionals gain experience mentoring an undergraduate student under the supervision of an experienced mentor. A total commitment of minimum 4 hours over the duration of the program is required, as well as attendance at 3 virtual events. A certificate will be issued upon completion.
– October 26th 6-7:30 PM MST – Introduction Event
– January 17th 6-7:30 PM MST – Professional Development Event
– April 4th 6-7:30 PM MST – Professional Development Closing Event
*Optional: In-person mixer in Edmonton (not mandatory for program completion), will be held during the program based on participant availability.
