Mentorship Program | 2025-2026

The UA-WiSE/WISER Mentorship Program aims to connect women and under-represented individuals in STEM fields with mentors who can help foster professional development and personal discovery.

The UA-WISE & WISER Mentorship Program 2025/2026 is now open to Professionals/Graduate Students and Undergraduates Students. The deadline to apply is September 30 at 6:00 pm.

Our mentorship program consists of a unique trio format and runs from October 2025 to March 2025. This structure allows graduate students or early-career professionals gain experience mentoring an undergraduate student under the supervision of an experienced mentor.

The bios of this year’s experienced mentors can be found here.

To register for the program, please purchase a ticket on eventbrite AND fill out this google form. The information in this form will help us select the best mentor for you.

Mentorship Program highlights:

  • Unique trio format (undergraduate + early-career professional/graduate student + experienced mentor)
  • Three formal events (about two hours each) with two optional online workshops
  • Trios meet independently outside of events

  • Note: Individuals living outside of Edmonton are welcome to apply; however, they will need to make up for hours missed from the in person events by increasing their independent trio meeting hours
