Industry mixers bring together undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career professionals to speak with industry professionals in STEM and learn about the landscape of a variety of industries. This event is a great opportunity for individuals to expand network and foster professional connections.
Every November, WiSER hosts our annual Industry Mixer, where we invite companies and organizations to showcase their areas of expertise in STEM. This event has been held online and in person, showcasing 25-30 organizations with over 100 participants attending each year.
In addition to networking with companies, we’ve offered past attendees a chance to have their resumes reviewed by the University of Alberta’s Career Centre and headshots provided by SUB Photo. Light refreshments were served throughout the night.
