Bubble tea and science talks! WISEST SRP 2026 students meet and greet with WiSER and UA-WiSE

WiSER would like to thank the WISEST SRP 2026 cohort for an amazing summer of research and learning! Every summer, the WISEST Summer Research Program supports girls and gender-diverse students in grade 11 to explore a future in STEM research through a six-week paid internship. Students have the opportunity to develop key professional skills, connect and learn from STEM professionals, and build a community with other participants who share similar interests. WiSER executives have supported this program by serving as supervisors and networking with students throughout.

Earlier this summer, WISEST hosted a networking session with executives from WiSER and UA-WiSE. Students shared their research experiences and future goals, while connecting with mentors and peers over bubble tea near campus! Having folks in their undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as early-career professionals, allowed students to hear perspectives from folks in different stages of their career.

We’re proud of the 2026 SRP cohort and grateful to everyone who helped make this celebration possible! We look forward to welcoming the next cohort for another year of learning and fun!
